I almost wanted to give this 4 stars, because some of the solos burned like a yule log, hot. Not sure if they were well rested and fat from the Christmas break? No doubt they were getting revved up for an end of the decade, bay area NYE run. Lots of energy here, but the reason I only gave it 3 was it seems a bit disjointed as the notes explain. A few cut-outs etc. I liked the Me & My Uncle > River, the NFA, and the disco trippy Shakedown brought a smile. Otherwise, some high energy solos make it noteworthy.
